To ensure safe delivery of your car you should prepare it properly for an automobile shipment. Organize an inspection of you vehicle and put down all the information about the current state of your car in a car inspection report. Don’t forget that you have to be present during the inspection. If you can’t be present in person you can ask someone reliable to be present there on your behalf.

After that you should prepare the car itself. Make sure that the steering, brakes and other core parts of your vehicle are in proper in condition to enable the vehicle shipper to load and unload your automobile during the automobile shipping.

Then make sure the tank of your car is full with fuel not more than one-fourth, because otherwise it can lead to overweighing of the carrier, which can cause delays or even fines at the checkpoints. By the way, make sure there is no fluid leaking in your vehicle, in which case this fluid may appear on the roofs of the other cars in case they are being transported on the carrier in two levels and your car is on the second level.

Don’t forget to switch off all the alarms in the vehicle in order not to cause any trouble or inconvenience during the auto moving process. Finally, take out from the car all your personal belongings, because auto shipping companies are not responsible for any damage of these belongings, which may occur during the car transportation process.
